I hate having the flu.
I thought after 2 weeks of throwing up, delirum, fever etc that I'd be over it. But I was back in work for only 3 days before I had to take another day off because I was exhausted and my fever had come back.
So I'm going back to the doctor on Monday or Tuesday, and I'll probably just get told to take it easy and rest. Unfortunatly I've got to be in work, I've had almost 3 weeks off this year alone and they are going to start getting snarky soon. But Kaz is insisting and who am I to argue with my wife.
In other news, I've chosen my modules for the final year of my degree, and they are looking really interesting:
All Year - Sound Practice, Programming for Entertainment Systems
Autumn Term - Neural Computation
Spring Term - Narrative and Digital Form
I'm looking forward to the Narrative module so much, since it ties in so well with the fact that I am writing and looking at creating stories.
Saying that, the year is going to be bloody difficult though. I've got a Project worth 40 credits that lasts the whole year, as well as a Dissertation. That is half my marks for the year. Then I've got 4 modules, each with their own projects in. I'm going to have a wonderful workload. Makes me wonder just how much of Touched I'm going to be able to do.
I've also hit a bit of a stopping point with Papillion's story (pronounced Papil-lion instead of Papyion). I know what I want to write, but where I've been so ill recently I've not been able to concentrate. I'm hoping that soon I'll get back into the groove.
Wish me luck.
