X-Men Halloween
Aug. 31st, 2007 11:51 pmOk, so my Rogue costume for Halloween is almost done. The cloak was easy, the trousers and shirt slightly more difficult and I'm doing the gloves tomorrow when I've had more sleep. All I've then got to do is find some white extensions that I can clip into my long brown wig and I'm done.
There will be pictues posted once I've completed it.
Have spent the last couple of days trying to come up with something striking for Kaz to wear. First we thought Remy, then we thought better of it since without the eyes and properly made armor she'd look like an idiot in a pink t-shirt. Then we went through the list of easily reckognisable X-Women (or Marvel Women) and their costumes. Psylocke; purple leotard and thigh-bands - Elektra; red leotard and thigh-bands - Scarlett Witch; see previous entry - Phoenix - Green and gold and very difficuly. We were at a loss.
Then it struck us.
Emma fucking Frost.
It'll be easy enough to get Kaz a pair of skin tight white hipsters and white heeled shoes/boots since we've got plenty of cheap/chav clothing stores around here. It's easy enough to buy a pair of white opera gloves (or make them if we're feeling really adventurous). And it'll be more than easy to make the corset-cum-gravity-defiying-cloak top thing that she wears at the moment. All it'll take then is a platinum wig and we are good to go.
Yay for an X-Men themed Halloween.
