American Gods

Have you ever sat and devoured a book that is just so right that nothing will make you put it down and you find yourself emotional at the oddest times?

I just finished American Gods, by Neil Gaiman, and it is one of the most right books I have ever read. There wasn't a part that I wanted to skip over, there wasn't a part that I wouldn't read again or a part that didn't fit. It worked, in every sense of the word, and it was amazing to me each time I managed to work out who was who, and who was doing what (Low Key Lyesmith was my favorite to actually realize).

I've always had a fascination with Old Gods and their stories. Doesn't matter what pantheon or where they come from, they've always interested me and this book was perfect for that.

If you haven't read it, I would suggest you do. I hope you won't be disappointed.
