I ain't ded
Jun. 2nd, 2008 07:01 pmI ain't ded.
It was a nice quick op. Went in to theater and two hours later I was wheeled back into the general ward. The theater nurse said it only lasted about 20 minutes. I also didn't come round with too much panic, unlike last time.
Turns out it was a plica. They whipped it out, and once I'm recovered I should be back to normal. So that's about 6-8 weeks, give or take.
Things of note:
1 - The chaplain, who came around randomly, looked like Edna Mole from the Incredibles. We looked at each other and said almost simultaneously "No Capes" as she left.
2 - The physiotherapist, Mark, was fan-tush-tick. He was very pretty, very soft spoken and I could tell I was feeling better because my inner Remy wanted to hit that and hit that hard.
3 - I am now officially Step-Knee of the Red Leg tribe.

4 - Arrows are fun:
( Fun with Arrows )
Otherwise, I'm ok. Just in a fair bit of pain. I can't sit in a chair for more than about 5 minutes without it hurting, so I'll be a bit scarce until that stops.
*hugs all*
