Platelets
Yeah. I was supposed to be giving platelets today, and I did try, but things decided to go wrong.
1) I am only just in the weight limit (good for me, yay weight loss, bad for them)
2) For the first time ever my body decided to have a reaction to the anti-coagulant. That involved nausea, dizziness, hot and cold flushes, junkie like shakes and spending an hour and twenty minutes being coddled by the staff because of it.
It means I can't give platelets again, so I'm back on whole blood.
Ah well.
At least they managed to get one unit out of me.
