It's a proven fact that a single
anal sex experience causes one to be homosexual. The
hormones released by a sexual situation involving the
anus being broached, are the same hormones found in large
quantities in effeminate homosexual males. For example,
when I was much younger I knew a young man who was
for all intents and purposes, heterosexual. He was mugged,
and involved in a rape situation involving a tent peg.
This one event was enough to have him start on a road that
eventually led to him becoming effeminate and gay.

It's not only so very funny but so very sad as well. It's not going to stop me liking her books but it does make me stop and go "bwah".

weird, because the green and some blue riders in her dragon books were queer by necessity, and not portrayed negatively...

I do vaguely remember, having not read the books in years, that they weren't portrayed all that negatively in the books that I'd read. I've not read much past Dolphins of Pern and even then I only read about five or six before that.

Ah well.

Reading the whole f_w thread (and bearing in mind it was posted back in 2003) it seems that the fandom batshit is strong in this one.
