Dread Mojitos

My apologies if this ends up a little rambly, but I'm a tinsy, tiny bit drunk. Why?
Because I had Dread Pirate Mojitos. Well, Mojito. Yeah, I really am that much of a lightweight.
Still, it was a good night out. We went to see Prince Caspian, more about that later, and then ate out. Food was good.
So, the film. It was alright. Visually stunning, amazing battle scenes and people that I wouldn't mind robbing the cradle for (Peter, Caspian and Susan). However it seemed kinda hollow. I think it's because I know the message behind it all these days. They were waiting for their Lion ex Machina, or Deus ex Lion, or whatever, because they couldn't do it without him. Bah. Oh, and I wanted to throttle Lucy, but then I wanted to do that in the book as well.
However, I got to cry "Death From Above" when it came to the eagle infiltration bit, woo!
Still, ignoring the whole "We must rely on Aslan" thing, it was a good film.
And Eddie Izzard rocked Reepicheep so damn hard it just wasn't funny. Mice ftw.
Now I must try to stop my fannish brain from writing Peter/Caspian slash, because I'm sorry but they were so into each other. So much UST you could cut it with a sword.
